Inspection App

1st release of mobile app for freight inspectors 

Approach
I collaborated with the Business Analyst and UX Researcher to sketch and prototype design solutions. I participated in requirements gathering meetings and usability studies to refine the designs, and worked with developers and QA through implementation.

Challenges
The timeline for the app’s first release was short, so we had to work closely as a team to ensure we met our deadline without sacrificing quality. Additionally, the visual design standards evolved multiple times throughout the project’s development, so I had to coordinate with the project manager and developers to keep our project up-to-date without impacting timelines.

Outcome
The application launch was well received by business stakeholders and the 290 freight inspectors using the app, and revenue goals for the app exceeded expectations.
